Brenda Cordova leads the Mexico law practice for Braumiller Law Group, PLLC. She has been involved in Mexican Customs and trade matters since 1994.

Brenda has represented a wide range of multi-national and small companies, advising them on business matters in Mexico. She has helped these clients with their Customs and international trade law issues, and she is widely recognized as an expert in the following areas: classification ruling requests, labeling requirements, import/export procedures, AEO, free-trade agreements including NAFTA, certificates of origin, IMMEX, foreign investment, and incorporation procedures.

She has been a professor in Customs and trade law at the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi since 2001. She has also been a featured lecturer for a number of groups, including the International Compliance Professionals Association (ICPA), the Women in International Trade, the Small Business Development Center, the School of Foreign Trade at the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, and the Masters of Foreign Trade at the Universidad del Valle de Mexico.

Well known within the trade community as an expert, Robert Stein has over 34 years of experience in regulatory compliance, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and consulting. With a very broad base of trade experience, he is an expert in import and export compliance, Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), Duty Drawback, HTS classification, and USMCA & other free trade agreements. Robert started his career on the Northern Border as a release agent before becoming a classification and NAFTA specialist at John V Carr in Buffalo. While working in Boston and JFK airport, Robert was able to expand his knowledge of ocean and air imports, as well as FDA. He took on the task of training all JFK and Newark employees on FDA compliance for AEI Radix. Since then, he has consistently developed and delivered training internally and externally for every broker/forwarder for whom he has worked. Robert joined Braumiller Consulting Group after 17 years at Mohawk Global where he was the driving force behind import and export compliance.
