This webinar will cover what is being proposed in the rulemaking including:

  • Change in continuing education hours requirement
  • Who doesn’t need to meet continuing education requirement
  • Eligible classes and events and hours granted for preparation of materials
  • Documenting and certifying education hours – and what happens if you don’t
  • Suspension or revocation of customs broker license for failure to meet requirements
  • Sources for continuing education hours and accreditation of providers
  • How to submit comments and suggestions to CBP

This Federal Register publication confirms that CBP is going forward with this proposal and that soon all individually licensed customs brokers will need to meet this requirement
