Paul M. Fudacz

Paul Fudacz is an attorney with nearly 20 years’ experience in international trade law. As Senior Counsel, International Trade for a Fortune 500 vehicular components manufacturer, he was accountable for all aspects of import and export trade compliance including the development and management of comprehensive compliance programs, performing internal reviews, managing trade-related audits and C-TPAT validations and providing compliance counseling and training. His recent practice has involved assisting clients in the aviation, material handling, chemical and injection molding industries on trade related matters.

 

He has special expertise in the areas of HTS classification, valuation, bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, ADD/CVD, ACS Reconciliation, C-TPAT and ISA certification requirements.  He also has extensive experience with EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and anti-boycott compliance.

 

In addition to his trade-related practice, he has assisted clients in negotiating and drafting agreements related to the procurement of brokerage and freight forwarding services as well as over-the-road, rail, and oceangoing transportation services.

 

He served on the Automotive Industry Action Group’s Customs / Supply Chain Security Initiative and its NAFTA OEM Content Reporting Task Force, and he was the keynote speaker at the University of Toledo School of Law’s CLE accredited program “Negotiating an International Sale”.

 

He began his career as an engineer after earning a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Illinois, and went on to earn his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School. He is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a patent holder/inventor. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Illinois.
