Adrienne Braumiller, Partner of Braumiller Schulz LLP, has recently been appointed by Acting Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Bank, to serve a four (4) year term on the Regulations and Procedures Technical Advisory Committee (RPTAC).

The RPTAC is one of seven Technical Advisory Committees that works in close cooperation with the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security.

The objectives of the committee are to advise and assist the Secretary of Commerce and other federal agencies and officials. The committee will be consulted where a recognized need of the Department of Commerce exists with respect to questions involving the development and revision of the EAR. The committee functions solely as an advisory body in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) and reports to the Assistant Secretary for Export Administration, Bureau of Industry and Security, U.S. Department of Commerce.
