Julie Goodman

Julie has been involved in international business for the last decade. She has worked in 6 countries across 3 continents. Her primary area of expertise is market entry strategy for US companies expanding overseas. She works with a variety of businesses ranging from corporate to retail to non-profit. Typical projects include country analysis, market analysis, and identifying new business partners. Julie speaks Spanish fluently and Portuguese conversationally. She is the Founder and CEO at Goodman Global Consulting, LLC.

Julie earned a BA in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. While completing her MBA, she consulted for Red Wing Shoes, Make-A-Wish Foundation International, Food for the Hungry, and the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center. More recently, she has worked with Mrs. Renfro’s, a gourmet salsa company based in Fort Worth, to design a market entry strategy for Brazil. Julie has been published in Forbes India in an article about multinational strategies for success in China.

Julie prides herself on her involvement in the Dallas community. She serves as the President of the Thunderbird Dallas/Fort Worth Alumni Chapter with 700 members and as an Ambassador at the Dallas Regional Chamber. Additionally, Julie is an active member of the North Texas District Export Council and the Dallas Business Club.
